Organizations employing or looking to hire community health workers (CHWs) can learn about how to support CHWs in their work and maximize the impact CHWs can have during a webinar coordinated by the Penn Center for Community Health Workers.
Speakers will discuss a recent white paper on success factors for CHW programs. Speakers include U.S. Sen Bob Casey, D-Pa., Peggy O’Kane, President of the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), two current CHWs, the chief medical officer of Virginia Medicaid, and the President/CEO of the Camden Area Health Education Center (AHEC).
