Interested in learning more about medical, dental, and behavioral health job opportunities in community health centers? If so, plan to attend the Philadelphia Primary Care Career Fair from 6-8pm on Oct. 25.
Personnel from more than 20 community health centers as well as state and federal loan repayment programs will be there to meet attendees and answer questions.
The Career Fair will also feature a panel discussion from 5– 6pm on “Overcoming Barriers to a Fulfilling Healthcare Career,” moderated by Dr. Ala Stanford, Region 3 Director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The focus will be on underrepresented groups that can overcome systemic barriers and succeed in medical, dental, and behavioral health careers.
The Career Fair is presented by the Pennsylvania Primary Care Career Center housed in the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers. Pennsylvania AHEC works with the PA Primary Care Career Center to promote careers in rural and underserved communities across Pennsylvania.
