Pennsylvania AHEC’s Training Center for Health Equity will provide practical tips on addressing vaccine hesitancy during its Sept. 28 “Learning Over Lunch” on public health and primary care.

The session will be led by Bernice Hausman, PhD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Humanities at the Penn State College of Medicine. Dr. Hausman has been researching medical controversies, such as vaccine hesitancies, since the 1990s. Her most recent work challenges public health and the public to understand vaccine dissent as a persistent and culturally meaningful aspect of modern societies.

Register today for the 12-1pm session on Sept. 28. Learn more about the PA Training Center for Health Equity.
