Project ECHO at Penn State College of Medicine is launching a new learning series for health care providers on monkeypox on August 24. As of Aug. 11, there were 10,768 confirmed cases of monkeypox in the U.S., and the outbreak has been declared a public health emergency.

The five-part series will provide clinical guidance to providers so that they are best prepared to meet patient needs and questions. Participants will discuss de-identified patient cases located in the CDC repository to review recommendations and considerations for care.

The one-hour CME-eligible sessions will be held from 12-1pm on Aug. 24, Sept. 7, Sept. 21, Oct. 5, and Oct. 19. Register for the series here.
