Community Health Worker (CHW) employers are asked to complete a survey (one per organization) by end-of-day Feb. 2 to inform the development of a State Plan Amendment that would allow Pennsylvania Medicaid to pay for CHW services starting in January 2025.
The survey is being fielded by the PA CHW Collaborative, a new statewide organization working to advance the CHW field, including working with Pennsylvania’s Department of Human Services and state legislators to secure payments for services provided by CHWs.
Survey responses will help set reimbursement rates and define services that will be covered under Medicaid.
