AgriSafe Network Offers Mental Health Care and Rural Nursing Continuing Education

Farmers and other agricultural workers deal with a lot of stress related to finances, weather, long hours, and loneliness. A new


3.5-hour virtual training program offers information for health care providers on addressing the mental health care of agricultural producers and their families. The FarmResponseSM continuing education course is available for free if you live or work in Pennsylvania.


Rural nurses also can earn up to 20.0 ANCC contact hours of continuing education through the AgriSafe Network’s 2022 Nurse Scholars Program. The webinar series focuses on the prevention, identification, and assessment of diseases related agricultural work exposures.
