Primary care providers can learn the newest developments in treating a variety of common and complex medical cases through a new continuing education series from Penn State College of Medicine’s Project ECHO supported by Ross and Carol Nese.
The free series starts Sept. 12 and will include 9 one-hour sessions monthly through May 2025. Sessions will be held from 12-1pm on the following Thursdays: Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Nov. 14, Dec. 12, Jan. 23, Feb. 27, Mar. 27, Apr. 24, and May 22.
The series is in response to a survey of primary care providers across Pennsylvania that identified clinicians want and need practical and timely information from specialists as an impactful way to uplift primary health care, particularly in limited access areas.
The CME-eligible series will cover diseases and conditions such as: congestive heart failure, osteoporosis, migraines, rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, skin cancer, bipolar disorder, statins, GLP-1 agonists, and advanced knee exams.
Register and attend as many sessions as you can.
